PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Unveiled in early 2016, the featherweight Griffin Armament Paladin suppressor is an impressive and unique unit. Originally called the “Alpha,” it is similar in many ways to its cousin, the Griffin Armament Recce 7. The Paladin holds a plethora of features that are new to the .30 caliber market. Most notably, its endcap is removable/replaceable by use of Griffin Armament’s Ratchet-lok system. And why is a Ratchet-lok on the endcap needed, you ask? Well, the entire silencer is user-serviceable! Talk about convenience!
Located in Watertown, Wi, Griffin Armament was founded by two military brothers focused on preserving gun enthusiasts’ hearing. By utilizing computer-based designs and highly-tested products to suppress firearms of all calibers, their prominence in the industry continues to rise. Moreover, their dedication to passing along savings to the customer is recognized and appreciated. The durable and versatile Paladin suppressor undoubtedly follows that footprint.
FURTHER INTEL
Through the use of the included tools (a standard CAR stock wrench will also work), the Paladin is able to be fully disassembled for general maintenance and cleaning. The silencer itself retains a .300WM and full-auto rating by means of the resilient stainless steel used for the tube, blast baffle, and endcap. Although the employment of stainless steel adds strength and heftiness, the entire unit still only weighs 14.5 ounces. That is lighter than several 5.56mm rifle silencers! Its lightness can be attributed to the titanium used in the baffle stack, which provides effective sound suppression. If on the fence about which 7.62mm rifle can to purchase, the Griffin Armament Paladin is the one to claim.
