The Griffin Armament M4SD-K (Mod 3), made from 17-4 stainless steel, is a machined billet chassis with integrated muzzle device bearing surfaces that house the suppressor internals. The chassis provides more robust housing than competing suppressor designs, making the M4SD-K exceptionally durable. An integrated flash suppressor front cap further reduces any flash signature from the weapon. Patent Pending baffle technology allows the M4SD-K to outperform suppressors of similar size and, coupled with low back pressure, allows reliable functioning of the host weapon.

The SDQD mounting system, unique to Griffin M4SD suppressors, is one of the fastest on the market. It interfaces with an A2 compensator and the Griffin M4SD series of muzzle devices. This system allows for minimal, dependable, and repeatable point of impact shift when attaching the suppressor.
