This Chester County Armory listing is for a Stemple 76/45 .45acp fully transferable submachine gun.
This transferable machine gun is an excellent representation of John Stemple’s adaptation of the Smith and Wesson 76 to be built in a factory original machine gun that fires the hard-hitting .45acp round. Stemple 76/45’s, while not always the sexiest of machine guns, earned quite the loyal following based on their performance and rugged ability. This model is no exception to that. This is a Stemple 1st Generation model, that features a left side folding stock, similar to the original design of a Swedish K.
Overall, this weapon is in excellent mechanical condition. Internal parts display only minor wear and the barrel retains crisp rifling. The bolt face remains clean and well-defined. All operational mechanisms operate appropriately, with no signs of excessive wear.
Cosmetically, this weapon is in overall very good condition. It does note numerous surface-only handling markings in the exterior parkerization, but no dents, dings, cracks, malformations, etc. that would be of any functional concern. Purchase of these model will also include three 30rd box magazines that have been properly fitted for the 1st Gen Stemple 76/45’s.
This transferable Stemple 76/45 .45acp submachine gun is currently on an eForm capable Form 3 that lists the manufacturer as “Stemple, John” and the model as “76/45”.
