IDEAL FOR SUPPRESSION
The Primary Weapon Systems MK116 “Compound rifle” is a combination of the Mod 1 upper with the Mk1 Mod 2 lower receiver. This allows for the mil-spec upper receiver (including forward assist) to be used with their billet, fully-ambi, lower receiver. The upper is attached to a 16.1″, 1:8 twist barrel with a mid-length gas system. The gas system is adjustable in three positions and operated by a long-stroke piston system.
A fully ambi lower allows for maximum control and ease of use for left-handed operation. The trigger is an enhanced mil-spec model with PTFE coating to remove any grit and make sure every shot breaks clean. The PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube with a ratchet lock castle nut and end plate contains an integrated QD sling mount.
